1. Sometimes it "Feels So Right"... "Feels So Right" is a single that you released in 2023, would you say that song was written from a personal experience?

​

 I have always tried to write feel good music to go along with the rest of my material, and while I wouldn’t say Feels So Right was a personal experience, I think the folks that are kind enough to listen to that song could take themselves  back in time to a first kiss, a summer love, or that first time memory of “Feels So Right”.

 

2. At about what time did Ethan Jackson Music form with the lineup it currently has?

My current band(great musicians and great guys) formed last fall and are all still with me.

4. Is your band currently touring?

​

We are playing all over Missouri and the surrounding areas! 

 

5. What would you say was the most challenging song that you have written?

​

  The most challenging song that I have written would be a song I’ve haven’t released yet called “I’d Go Back Again”. I wrote the song after watching some old home videos and the challenging part was how flooded I was with memories of loved ones who are no longer here.

 

6. Do you plan to release any EP's now that it is a new year?

​

We just released a new single this March that will be included on my full album, “Country Confessions”.  We are hoping to have the album completed by summer.

 

7. I imagine that you have traveled for performances, Do you have any memories while touring that you thought were hilarious that you could share?

​

This is not a touring story but the first time I ever played in front of a crowd was an open mic/songwriting contest and when I was done with my song this older gentleman approached me and said, you kinda have that Tim McGraw thing going on! Then proceeded to tell me he couldn’t stand Tim McGraw, Haha, can’t win em all.
